Resource Coordinator, Staff Bank (LF)
We are seeking a motivated Resource Coordinator to join our Staff Bank Office team at NHS Scotland. The role is a 12‑month fixed term, Band 3, 37 hours per week, located at the Comely Bank Centre in Edinburgh.
Key Responsibilities- Manage bank staff requests, including shift cancellations, short notice fills, and annual leave processing.
- Handle enquiries from staff and service areas via phone and face‑to‑face, prioritising and directing as needed.
- Liaise with service managers to negotiate shift times and arrange support for staff in new clinical areas.
- Ensure agency compliance by verifying mandatory checks.
- Provide general administrative support.
- Commitment to NHS Lothian’s values: quality, teamwork, compassion, dignity, respect, openness, honesty, and responsibility.
- SVQ II/HNC in Business Administration or equivalent experience.
- Understanding of NHS structures.
- Strong organisational, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Proven customer service excellence.
- Knowledge of Staff Bank booking processes and procedures.
