Overview

Leonardo offers a range of Apprenticeships from 2‑4 years across a variety of STEM and business routes. The Business Management Graduate Apprenticeship is a four‑year scheme that combines paid training, on‑job learning and a university programme to provide a strong foundation for a career in business.

Responsibilities
  • Study for a Business Management BA (Hons) at the University of Strathclyde through a mixture of work‑based learning, distance learning and day releases at the university.
  • Apply academic knowledge within work‑based projects, including scheduling projects and tracking performance.
  • Work closely with mentors and integrated project teams across planning, CS3 or procurement to support business processes.
  • Provide input and coordinate activities within the business to manage projects independently over the course of the apprenticeship.
Qualifications
  • 4 higher grades (or equivalent) – Highest band: BBBB (or equivalent).
  • Mandatory Mathematics & English.
  • Preferred: a business‑related subject.
  • Standard grades 1‑3 or National 5 A‑C in English (or equivalent qualifications to Highers / Standard Grades).
  • Residence in Scotland before August 1 2026 for SAAS funding (if applicable).
Security Clearance

The role is subject to pre‑employment screening in line with the UK Government’s Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS). Additional National Security Vetting may apply (SC or DV).
