Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role, covering projects throughout Scotland. The Associate/Associate Director Project Monitoring Surveyor will monitor project progress on behalf of the finance providers, to ensure adherence to schedules and budgets, provide due diligence assessments, and compile detailed reports analysing financial and technical risks. Responsibilities also include working closely with stakeholders, advising on potential risks and mitigation measures, and ensuring development funding is protected through proactive project monitoring.

Qualifications
  • Expertise in project monitoring, project management, and construction processes.
  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and financial due diligence skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication for report writing, client correspondence, and stakeholder management.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teams and independently, along with robust decision‑making skills.
  • Membership of RICS (or working towards achieving it); a degree in Quantity Surveying, Building Surveying, or a related discipline is highly desirable.
