Site Engineer - Earthworks Scheme (Edinburgh - 5-Month Contract)

Location: Edinburgh
Duration: 5 Months
Rate: £300 - £350 per day (DOE)

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join a major earthworks project in Edinburgh for a 5-month contract. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a reputable civil engineering contractor on a large-scale infrastructure scheme.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Setting out and surveying for earthworks operations
  • Ensuring quality control and compliance with specifications
  • Assisting with site documentation, reports, and progress updates
  • Managing subcontractors and liaising with project stakeholders
  • Ensuring HSE regulations and site safety standards are met

    • Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Site Engineer on earthworks or civils projects
  • Proficiency in using GPS, total station, and other surveying equipment
  • Strong understanding of site paperwork, method statements, and risk assessments
  • Valid CSCS card and relevant engineering qualifications
  • SMSTS or SSSTS (desirable)
