LabView Test Engineer

We are looking for a skilled and driven Test Design Engineer based near Edinburgh, Livingstone to help bring cutting-edge products to life. In this role, you’ll be a key player in the design, development, and validation of test solutions—from initial concept to commercial launch. Your work will directly support the delivery of high-quality, reliable products to global markets.

As a Test Design Engineer, you will:

* Design, develop, and verify robust test systems using industry-standard tools and equipment.

* Create and analyse test designs with a focus on efficiency and reliability.

* Collaborate with cross-functional teams across the full product life cycle—from concept to sustaining support.

* Maintain detailed project documentation aligned with quality and change management standards.

* Support continuous improvement initiatives by applying Lean Sigma principles to enhance processes and eliminate waste.

Requirements:

Required:

* Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or a related Engineering field.

* Minimum of 5+ years of experience in test design or similar engineering roles.

* Must have knowledge in LabVIEW and Test Stand.

* Hands-on experience with automated test systems, functional and environmental testing.

* Strong knowledge of Lean Sigma principles and structured design methodologies.

* Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
