We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead a dynamic team of 15+ engineers specializing in RF and Quantum Satellite communication systems. This pivotal role involves coaching and developing engineers, ensuring project performance, and maintaining compliance with both internal and external processes. The successful candidate will also play a key role in supporting business development activities within the Space and Defence markets.

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
• Oversee project performance, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
• Ensure compliance with internal processes and external regulations, maintaining the highest standards of engineering practice.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business development initiatives and identify new opportunities within the Space and Defence sectors.
• Drive technical excellence and promote best practices within the engineering team.
• Manage resource allocation and project prioritization to meet business objectives.

• Proven experience in engineering management, preferably within the RF or Quantum Satellite communication sectors.
• Strong leadership skills with a track record of developing high‑performing teams.
• In‑depth knowledge of project management methodologies and compliance standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
• A background in Space and Defence markets is highly desirable.

This is an office‑based role located in Edinburgh, Scotland. The successful candidate will work in a collaborative and innovative environment, contributing to cutting‑edge projects in the field of satellite communication systems.
