A leading provider within the environmental engineering and water treatment sector is seeking an experienced Commissioning Engineer to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on cutting‑edge water treatment projects that contribute directly to sustainability and ecological transformation.

The successful candidate will play a key role in bringing complex systems from mechanical completion through to full operational readiness, ensuring all technical, safety and contractual standards are met. This multifaceted, field‑based role offers autonomy, progression and the chance to work within a large, established company.

• Work alongside the Commissioning Manager to deliver the full commissioning process safely, efficiently, and in line with project requirements.
• Coordinate and manage commissioning activities, ensuring equipment, resources and personnel are effectively allocated to meet project deadlines.
• Participate in design reviews and contribute to control philosophies, risk assessments, commissioning plans and technical documentation.
• Conduct system tests, troubleshoot issues and analyse performance data to ensure operational excellence.
• Maintain strong communication with clients, stakeholders and internal teams to support smooth project delivery and high levels of customer satisfaction.

• Proven experience as a Commissioning Engineer within the water treatment industry.
• Strong technical problem‑solving skills, with a focus on safety and compliance.
• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage complex testing procedures.
• A customer‑focused approach with strong communication abilities.
• Effective time management and a willingness to learn and develop.
• A full UK driving licence.
