This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Civil Engineer to join a well-established, environmentally focused multi-disciplinary consultancy as they strengthen and grow their civil engineering capability in Edinburgh. The Senior Civil Engineer will play a key role in delivering drainage-led infrastructure projects while helping to develop and mentor the wider team.

As a Senior Civil Engineer, you will take ownership of civil infrastructure design across residential, commercial and mixed-use developments. Your focus will include drainage design, Flood Risk Assessments, Drainage Strategies and technical approvals, working closely with clients, planners and regulatory bodies.

Key Responsibilities

* Deliver drainage and civil infrastructure designs from concept through to approval

* Prepare Flood Risk Assessments and Drainage Strategy reports

* Design adoptable and private drainage systems to S104 standards

* Support infrastructure layouts and levels design

* Coordinate with planners, architects and environmental teams

* Review and check technical outputs from junior engineers

* Contribute to project delivery, programme and client relationships

Candidate Requirements

* Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline

* Strong UK consultancy experience in drainage and infrastructure design

* Proven experience with Flood Risk Assessments and drainage strategies

* Proficient with AutoCAD and drainage software such as Info Drainage

* Confident communicator with a collaborative working style
