Senior Infrastructure Operations Engineer (Azure/365)

• Manage Microsoft cloud platform components such as M365 and Azure to meet business needs and performance targets.
• Maintain secure configuration and accurate information, controlling IT assets in one or more significant areas.
• Deal with high‑impact, complex change requests.
• Lead the investigation and resolution of incidents.
• Take accountability for issues that occur and proactively search for potential problems.
• Initiate and monitor actions to investigate patterns and trends to resolve problems.
• Determine preventative measures.
• Draft and maintain procedures and documentation.
• Set standards for the definition, security, and integrity of objects, ensuring conformity to these standards.

Experience

• Lead Criteria 1:
  Provide business and technical leadership to a team of experienced technologists, delivering solutions in a pressured environment.
• Lead Criteria 2:
  In‑depth knowledge of Microsoft Cloud Platform standards and compliance.
• Extensive experience of Service Management, Risk Management and Project Management methodologies.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills with proficiency in conveying to both technical and mainstream audiences.
