Senior Building Services CAD Technician

This is an excellent opportunity for a talented Senior Building Services CAD Technician to join our team at our office in Birmingham to produce 2D CAD Drawings for RIBA Stages 2-4 MEP Design for a wide range of exciting local & international building projects.

• Develop coordinated 2D CAD Drawings following Cundall’s Autodesk AutoCAD Templates and CAD & Design Standards.
• Produce MEP Services Drawings that are coordinated and fit within the constraints of the building layout on various projects.
• Generate drawings from mark‑ups such as sketches and Bluebeam PDFs.
• Contribute to the Automation Developments for AutoCAD by submitting ideas to the Digital Team.
• Work closely with Engineers, Technicians and BIM Managers across disciplines.
• Plan, organise workload, communicate effectively and meet tight deadlines.

• Background in Building Services including Mechanical, Electrical & Public Health Disciplines.
• Educated ideally to HNC level or higher in the subject.
• Strong practical experience of using AutoCAD in a similar role within the industry.
• Experience with RIBA plan of works, BSRIA BG6, and ISO 19650.
• Ability to work to Cundall Standards and Templates, including producing drawings from mark‑ups.
• Proficient in planning, organising workload, and working under pressure to tight deadlines.
