Technical Director - Fire Engineering

Senior role focused on leading fire engineering on multiple projects across the UK and internationally.

• Lead fire engineering design across diverse projects, from university buildings in Scotland to high‑rise residential towers in London.
• Conduct design reviews and liaise with WSP disciplines such as Facades, Acoustics and Structures.
• Present fire safety designs to local authorities and the Fire Service.
• Advise design team on safety improvements and regulatory compliance.
• Participate in client updates, team briefings and project meetings.
• Support professional registration through IFE and other professional organisations.

• BSc (BEng) or MSc (MEng) in Fire, Structural, Chemical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Extensive experience within the fire engineering consulting industry.
• Capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
