SER Certified Engineer

Position: SER Certified Engineer (Permanent)
A well-established consultancy based in Edinburgh is seeking an experienced SER Certified Structural Engineer to join their dynamic team. This is an excellent opportunity to take on a key role within a growing practice that delivers high-quality work across a diverse range of building projects.

In this position, you will be responsible for providing structural design and certification for projects ranging from residential developments to commercial builds. You will work as part of a collaborative team and oversee projects from initial concept through to completion, ensuring full compliance with SER requirements. The role requires SER Certification (Scotland), a strong background in building structures—whether residential, commercial, or mixed-use—and a minimum of five years’ relevant post-graduate experience.

You should also be proficient in structural design software and able to communicate clearly with clients, architects, and contractors.

The company offers a competitive salary between £55,000 and £65,000 depending on experience, along with flexible working arrangements and a supportive, inclusive team environment. You will also have the chance to contribute to a wide range of innovative building projects.
