Position: Site Engineer (Contract)
Contract Site Engineer - Edinburgh & Lothians

Boyd Recruitment is seeking a Contract Site Engineer to join our client’s team based in Edinburgh and the Lothians, East Central Scotland. This role is ideal for an experienced professional with a background in civil engineering contracting.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage site operations in accordance with project specifications and health and safety regulations.

Conduct setting out and survey work to ensure precise positioning of structures and infrastructure.

Coordinate with project teams, subcontractors, and clients to ensure smooth progress and completion of tasks.

Monitor progress and quality control, ensuring adherence to timelines and standards.

Assist in problem-solving and providing technical solutions on site.

Candidate Requirements:

Proven experience in Site / Setting Out engineering within civil engineering contracting projects.

Strong knowledge of site safety procedures and regulations.

Excellent communication and organisational skills.

Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and method statements.

Relevant qualifications in civil engineering or related field.

Experience working in the Edinburgh & Lothians region is desirable.
