This is a key role within the Finance & Estates team, reporting to the Head of Finance & Estates.

• Prepare monthly management accounts, forecasts, and annual budgets
• Line manage two Finance Officers based in Edinburgh
• Act as systems administrator for Xero, Zoho (expenses), and PO systems
• Support business planning and financial strategy
• Ensure compliance with SORP, OSCR, and internal controls
• Hybrid working with regular presence in Edinburgh expected

You ll be a proactive, detail-oriented finance professional who thrives in a mission-led environment.

Mandatory

• Fully qualified accountant (CA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
• Experience preparing management accounts and forecasts
• Strong Excel and financial systems skills (Xero preferred)
• Experience managing or mentoring staff
• Excellent communication skills, able to explain finance to non-finance colleagues

Preferred

• Experience in the charity or third sector
• Familiarity with SORP and OSCR requirements
• Experience using Xero

  Up to £53,000 (flexible for the right candidate)
