This is a key role within the Finance & Estates team, reporting to the Head of Finance & Estates.
- Prepare monthly management accounts, forecasts, and annual budgets
- Line manage two Finance Officers based in Edinburgh
- Act as systems administrator for Xero, Zoho (expenses), and PO systems
- Support business planning and financial strategy
- Ensure compliance with SORP, OSCR, and internal controls
- Hybrid working with regular presence in Edinburgh expected
You ll be a proactive, detail-oriented finance professional who thrives in a mission-led environment.
Mandatory
- Fully qualified accountant (CA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
- Experience preparing management accounts and forecasts
- Strong Excel and financial systems skills (Xero preferred)
- Experience managing or mentoring staff
- Excellent communication skills, able to explain finance to non-finance colleagues
Preferred
- Experience in the charity or third sector
- Familiarity with SORP and OSCR requirements
- Experience using Xero

- Salary:
Up to £53,000 (flexible for the right candidate) - 35-hour working week (4-day week may be considered)
