We partner with M&G to support their contingent recruitment processes. On behalf of M&G, AMS are looking for a Qualified Accountant for a 6-month contract based in Edinburgh or fully remote. Purpose of the role:
This role supports the preparation and delivery of M&G plc's Group annual report and consolidated financial statements for the 2025-year end. Following the reporting cycle, the role will also support the implementation of IFRS 18 requirements for financial statement presentation. What you'll do:
Support the preparation of the Group IFRS financial statements, including ownership of several notes to the accounts, produced to auditable standards Support the overall preparation of the Annual report and accounts, including ownership of the overall verification process. Supporting the implementation of new IFRS 18 accounting standards To maintain effective working relationships with other teams within the M&G plc finance function, ensuring that Group reporting needs are communicated, understood and met The skills you'll need:
Working knowledge of IFRS reporting requirements Qualified Accountant Working knowledge of financial reporting regulatory requirements
