Eden Scott is delighted to be working with a highly respected financial planning firm based in Edinburgh to recruit an experienced IFA / Sales Support professional
. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with 1–2 years of experience in a similar role who is looking to take the next step in their career within a supportive and forward-thinking environment.
You will play a key part in supporting Independent Financial Advisers in delivering outstanding client service.
Responsibilities- Compile detailed financial reports, suitability letters, and investment summaries for client meetings.
- Ensure all documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and formatted according to company standards.
- Organise supporting documents such as policy statements, valuations, and compliance checklists.
- Act as the first point of contact for client queries via phone, email, or post.
- Schedule and confirm client appointments, ensuring all necessary paperwork is prepared in advance.
- Follow up on outstanding information or documentation required from clients to progress applications.
- Submit new business applications for investments, pensions, and protection products.
- Track application progress and update internal systems to reflect current status.
- Maintain client files and CRM systems to ensure all data is accurate and compliant.
- Communicate with product providers to obtain policy details, valuations, and resolve queries.
- Coordinate with advisers and paraplanners to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of tasks.
- Assist in preparing documentation for compliance checks and audits.
- Verify that all client files meet FCA and company compliance standards.
- Keep up-to-date with regulatory changes and implement necessary updates in processes.
- Ensure anti-money laundering (AML) checks and data protection protocols are followed.
- 1–2 years of experience in an IFA support or financial services admin role
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficiency in financial systems and Microsoft Office
- A proactive and client-focused approach
- Hybrid working: 4 days in the office, 1 day from home
