Business Manager – Financial Services Recruitment at Eden Scott

We are expanding the financial advice team in Edinburgh and looking for an experienced paraplanner or senior paraplanner. The role offers flexible hybrid working, exam support and excellent benefits.

• Attend client meetings alongside Financial Planners and Directors
• Communicate with clients in the adviser’s absence
• Provide technical support and client advice research
• Prepare client reports, suitability letters and packs
• Support advisers with client and product research
• Research due diligence on the market and negotiate with product suppliers for the best possible rates
• Process new business applications
• Develop and maintain client contact and relationships
• Liaise with product providers to collate pension and investment information and maintain client files
• Ensure advice is compliant with regulatory requirements
• Keep up to date with financial products and legislation

Applicants should be an experienced paraplanner or a developer currently working within an adviser’s office or a provider. Strong back‑office systems and platform experience and excellent report‑writing skills are vital.
