Financial Reporting Accountant

Location:

Edinburgh (Hybrid - 4 days office / 1 day WFH) Are you a detail-oriented finance professional with a passion for compliance and reporting? We're partnering with a leading global asset management group to recruit a Financial Reporting Accountant.

This role offers exposure to international entities and a mix of statutory, regulatory, and board-level reporting.

The Role You'll play a key part in the Controllership team, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting across EMEA and APAC.

Responsibilities include:

Statutory Reporting:
Prepare annual financial statements for multiple entities, ensuring compliance with IFRS, UK GAAP, and local standards. Manage audits and liaise with external auditors. Regulatory & Statistical Reporting:
Deliver UK regulatory submissions and support overseas reporting processes. Perform analytical reviews to validate accuracy. Board Reporting:
Produce quarterly board packs with insightful commentary and draft approval papers. Controls & Compliance:
Complete SOX-compliant reconciliations, maintain documentation, and identify process improvements.

Collaboration:

Work closely with finance teams and contribute to projects that enhance efficiency and control. About You ACA/ACCA part-qualified (MAAT considered). Strong knowledge of IFRS, UK GAAP; US GAAP exposure is a plus. Experience preparing financial statements and regulatory submissions. Excellent analytical and communication skills.
