Finance Assistant – 6 Month Fixed Term Contract

iMultiply is working exclusively with a reputable business in the city centre of Edinburgh and we are looking for a detail-oriented Finance Assistant to join a team on a 6-month fixed-term contract. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with numbers, has strong organisational skills, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. You will need to have experience in Purchase Ledger, Sales Ledger, and Credit Control.

An enthusiastic all-rounder who enjoys variety and collaborating with different teams. You will be part of a friendly and highly supportive team.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare sales invoices, ensuring accurate recording in the finance system.
• Process supplier invoices, coordinate approvals, and assist with payment runs.
• Monitor outstanding balances and support the credit control team.
• Perform weekly and monthly reconciliations.
• Provide support for ad-hoc finance tasks and assist the wider team when required.

Skills required

• Previous experience in a finance or accounts role.
• Familiarity with accounting systems (e.g., Sage or similar).
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Good communication skills and a proactive approach.
