Overview

The City Of Edinburgh Council is recruiting centrally for Teachers Of Health & Food Technology in the following schools across the City of Edinburgh.

• Castlebrae HS
• Craigmount HS
• Craigroyston HS
• Forrester HS
• Holyrood RC HS
• James Gillespie's HS

Salary: £34,938 - £52,614

35 per week

Schedule:

Posts will commence in August 2026. Candidates are expected to be fully registered with the GTCS by 10th August 2026.

Teachers must be fully registered with the GTCS by 10th August 2026.

Teachers are required to be a member of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007 scheme, or undergo an update check. Candidates who have spent a continuous period of three months or more outside the UK in the last five years must provide an Overseas Criminal Record Check.
