Learning Technologies Specialist

We’re looking for a Learning Technologies Specialist to join our Learning Solutions team. This role focuses on supporting our customers who use Mapal’s authoring tools to create learning content. You’ll act as a trusted consultant—demonstrating the tools, onboarding new customers, and helping them get the most out of their subscription through expert advice, troubleshooting, and regular learning sessions.

You’ll also be responsible for maintaining customer instances, testing content, and collaborating with our Product and Tech teams to ensure seamless performance between the authoring tools and Mapal One. If you enjoy combining technical know‑how with customer‑facing consultancy and love exploring how technology can make learning easier and more engaging, this could be the perfect fit.

What you’ll be doing
  • Consult with prospective customers, delivering engaging demos of our authoring tool packages.
  • Onboard new customers through guided learning sessions and ongoing support.
  • Set up and maintain customer instances of our authoring tools, ensuring a smooth and reliable experience.
  • Act as the main point of contact for customer enquiries about the authoring tools and their content.
  • Test and quality‑assure content produced in the tools to ensure compatibility with Mapal One.
  • Troubleshoot technical or content‑related issues raised internally or by customers.
  • Maintain accurate consultancy records, including tracking hours of customer support provided.
  • Collaborate with Product and Tech teams to improve our tools performance and user experience.
  • Deliver monthly learning sessions to help customers get the most from the authoring tools.
  • Keep up to date with new features and updates to continuously develop your expertise.
  • Provide occasional support to Learning Solutions colleagues, such as contributing to Product Academy content.
About you
  • Have experience supporting customers with digital learning tools or technologies.
  • Understand SCORM file formats and their compatibility with Learning Management Systems.
  • Have a keen interest in AI powered tools and leveraging these in creating learning content.
  • Are technically confident and comfortable troubleshooting software or content‑related issues.
  • Enjoy building strong relationships and helping others get the best out of technology.
  • Communicate clearly and confidently with both technical and non‑technical audiences.
  • Are organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple customer needs at once.
  • Take ownership of your work and enjoy solving problems independently.
  • Have knowledge of the hospitality sector.
  • Have hands‑on experience with eLearning authoring tools (especially Evolve).
  • Speak French and/or Spanish.
