Job Title: MS Fabric Architect

FTC Contract of 6 months

The MS Fabric Architect role requires expertise in designing and implementing scalable data solutions with a focus on cloud architectures and Microsoft Fabric technologies. Responsibilities include collaborating with client architects, reviewing architecture documents, and ensuring best practices in solution delivery.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Proficiency in SQL Server Business Intelligence Development Studio, SSRS, SSIS, SQL Server, Visual Studio, Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Synapse Analytics, Microsoft Fabric, and PySpark.
• Experience in developing reusable and dynamic ADF/Fabric pipelines.
• Strong communication skills for interaction with clients and technical teams.
• Bachelor's Degree in Science or Engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with client architects on MS Fabric solutions, architecture, and design reviews.
• Hands-on experience with Fabric Landing Zone Setup, Tenant Configuration, Security, Entra , VNET, Data Gateway, DNS, Workspace, Domain, and Purview Governance Fabric Integration.
• Review and assure architecture design documents, decisions, and solution architecture.
• Challenge proposed solutions and ensure adherence to best practices.
• Define functional and non-functional requirements in alignment with customer objectives.
• Participate in infrastructure workshops and provide architecture services.
• Stakeholder management with senior architects, vendors, and clients.

Technical Skills and Experience:

• 15+ years in the software industry with at least 3+ years as a MS Fabric solution architect.
• Experience with large-scale infrastructure implementation using Microsoft Fabric.
• Ability to create architecture and design documents covering governance, security, administration, Dev Ops, usability, performance, and cost management.
• Experience in design review, code review, and end-to-end architecture responsibilities.
• Proficiency in creating Infrastructure as Code templates with Terraform for Fabric Landing Zones and Purview Governance.
• Experience with Fabric Tenant Settings, Workspace Templates, and network configurations including VNET, Private Link, and Private DNS.
• Knowledge of logging and SIEM integrations with Microsoft Sentinel and Service Now.
• Understanding of deployment methodologies such as Waterfall, Agile, Scrum.
