Summary

Xpedition are looking for a Senior Project Manager to join its growing team. You must be capable of working on medium to large-scale, complex business applications transformation projects. You will be responsible for working closely with customers and supporting the delivery teams in planning, designing, building, testing, and maintaining solutions to a high standard, following an agile delivery approach.

Responsibilities

The position of Senior Project Manager is an integral role in the successful delivery of a solution to the customer. Working within the delivery team, you will be able to cover the following tasks :

  • Lead complex / or cross practice customer engagements, and provide subject matter expertise on agile and / or waterfall project delivery best practice
  • Resource planning and management, project reporting including commercials, quality and risk management, issue tracking, change management, project retrospectives, stand‑ups, sprint planning
  • Previous experience with Azure Dev Ops
  • Responsible for managing the expectations of the customer, by clearly articulating roles... and the process and artifacts that Xpedition follow to support a positive outcome both in terms of experience and project deliver
  • Take an active role in presales activities, planning and estimation as required
  • Define work of others and monitor its quality
  • Work with the finance team to ensure customers are correctly invoiced, helping to resolve any queries should they arise
  • Help advance the team by coaching other team members
  • Collaborate on internal initiatives and be able to evidence innovation in your work
  • Build rapport quickly and inspire confidence with both internal and customer teams
  • Design and deliver key artefacts and workshops – e.g., roadmaps, vision boards, project board presentations
  • Thought leadership, influencing team direction and practices
  • Help identify, pursue, and close business development opportunities, whilst continually contributing to existing project success
Knowledge, Skills & Experience

The candidate will have a proven track record as a Project Manager with knowledge of Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement and Power Platform features.

Other essential skills are :
  • Experienced in enterprise level business application projects, that have included CRM and ERP implementation
  • Troubleshooter, problem solver and trusted advisor
  • The ability to manage their workload and time according to deadlines set. Resourceful, energetic, and enthusiastic
  • Dynamic and out of the box thinker who puts the customer experience at the center of all actions
  • Excellent balance of relationship building, engagement, stakeholder management skills
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and oral – listen, understand, present and challenge. Comfortable presenting at Senior Executive / Board level
  • Limitless appetite for service excellence
  • Set‑up new approaches, governance, tools, and templates to embed lasting change
  • Work closely with customer teams to transition to an agile project culture and mindset
  • Strong planning and organisational skills
  • Strong problem‑solving skills, able to bring a point of view, perspective and clarity to customer challenges
  • Prince2 Agile Practitioner and/or Scrum Master certification
  • 5+ years' project management
