Peace Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a well-established Edinburgh-based Housing Association in the appointment of a Property Services Manager. This is a key leadership role with responsibility for delivering high-quality, customer-focused property and asset management services across the organisation’s housing stock.
The Role
Reporting to the senior management team, you will lead the Property Services function, ensuring homes are safe, well maintained and compliant, while driving service improvements and value for money.
Key responsibilities include:
* Managing day-to-day delivery of property services, including responsive repairs, planned maintenance and compliance
* Leading, motivating and developing a multi-disciplinary property services team
* Managing contractor performance, budgets and procurement processes
* Ensuring compliance with all relevant health & safety, building and housing legislation
* Contributing to asset management strategy and long-term investment planning
* Working closely with colleagues across housing management and customer services to deliver excellent outcomes for tenants
About You
You will be an experienced property or asset management professional with a strong background in the housing sector.
Essential requirements:
* Proven experience in a similar Property Services / Asset Management role
* Experience working within a housing association, local authority or similar environment
* Strong knowledge of housing compliance, health & safety and building regulations
* Excellent leadership, stakeholder management and communication skills
* Ability to manage budgets, contractors and performance effectively
A relevant professional qualification (e.g. CIOB, RICS, or similar) would be advantageous.
