We're looking for an experienced Rail Site Manager to join our team in Scotland, overseeing cleaning operations for a major rail contract.
In this role, you'll lead a team of 30+ operatives
, ensuring depot and fleet cleaning standards are consistently met and maintained to the highest level. Every day brings new challenges, and when you're working with people, there's never a dull moment.
Your strong leadership and interpersonal skills will be key to supporting, motivating, and developing your team while delivering exceptional service standards.
As a Rail Site Manager you'll be:- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction for all involved.
- Ensuring the consistent quality of service delivery, with a focus on inclusivity and customer needs.
- Managing ad-hoc and regular activities such as projects, reports, and audits, supporting the Operations Manager as required.
- Leading contract and specification review meetings with clients.
- Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety procedures and legislation.
- Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement, cost savings, and growth, while ensuring that all perspectives are valued and considered.
- Strong leadership and motivational abilities, with the capacity to plan ahead, work under pressure, and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience in financial forecasting, budgeting, and analysis.
- A working knowledge of Health and Safety systems within the cleaning industry, ensuring safety for all individuals involved.
- Previous experience working with railclients would be desirable, along with a flexible approach to meeting diverse client needs.
- A full driving license and the ability to travel—occasional nights required.
