We are an ambitious and expanding business with a strong reputation for delivering quality products and outstanding service. As part of our continued growth we are developing our Power & Tools Division a fast-moving and strategically important part of our operation.

We are now seeking a Branch Operations Manager to take ownership of this division driving performance efficiency and growth as we enter our next exciting phase. This opportunity will suit a self-reliant Operations or Branch Manager who is able to oversee the creation fit-out and start-up of Scotland's first United Rentals location for Power and Tools followed by the recruitment and management of the new branch team.

• Service-oriented know how to respond swiftly and efficiently to our customers needs
• Responsible for the motivation coaching and development of the Scottish team
• Maximise the efficiency of our service organisation
• Ensure the timely and cost-effective maintenance and repair of the rental fleet
• Take responsibility for the delivery installation and removal of our equipment on clients sites
• Ensure compliance with internal and external QHSE policies
• Actively contribute to and implement European-wide initiatives

• We are seeking candidates with proven experience in this sector
• Operational work experience including strong experience in the management of a technical department
• An understanding of quality management system planning and logistics
• Ability to drive continuous improvement in maintenance safety quality and customer service
• Capacity to build and retain a cohesive and effective operational team
• Experience in change management Lean Six Sigma and ISO accreditation
• Oral and written proficiency in English
• Computer literate including MS Office
• Willingness to travel occasionally to our European Support office in the Netherlands
