Base pay range

Livingston James is delighted to be supporting a long-standing client to appoint an Interim Business Change Lead on a six-month basis.

As Interim Business Change Lead, you will ensure operational teams embrace evolving digital technologies, supporting systems and processes while also championing continuous improvement. Acting as a key conduit between the IT team and operational services, you will ensure business needs are effectively translated into system requirements and that new technologies are adopted smoothly and consistently.

Key deliverables of this interim role include:
  • Translating business needs into system requirements, ensuring operational demands are reflected in design and adoption
  • Embedding the voice of operational staff represented and embedded throughout build and testing phases, with clear feedback loops
  • Reviewing existing processes to identify automation opportunities and redefining roles or workflows accordingly
  • Redeploying capacity released from legacy tasks to new value‑adding activities
  • Establishing robust internal controls, governance, and procedures aligned with the new digital operating model
Candidate Profile Background
  • Strong background in business change and transformation, with a proven track record of leading teams through significant operational or digital change
  • Experience shaping and embedding new ways of working, introducing improved processes and systems, and supporting teams to adapt confidently
  • Experience in complex, multi‑functional environments where services must evolve to meet organisational priorities and customer expectations
  • Extensive stakeholder management experience, building trusted relationships across operational, digital, and corporate functions
  • Strong project management skills; including planning, coordination, and delivery of improvement initiatives
