I am currently working with a well-established Housing Association in Edinburgh who are looking to appoint an experienced Property Services Manager to lead and manage their property services function. This could be a perm or temp role depending on your requirments.

This is a senior operational role, responsible for delivering high-quality, customer-focused property management, maintenance, and compliance services across the Association's housing stock.

The Role

Reporting to the Property Services Director, you will:

Lead and manage a multi-disciplinary Property Services team, including technical, compliance, planned maintenance, and administrative staff

Oversee reactive, planned, and cyclical maintenance programmes, ensuring quality, safety, and value for money

Ensure full compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements, including gas, electrical, fire, asbestos, legionella, damp & mould, and CDM

Manage contractor performance, budgets, KPIs, and service delivery standards

Contribute to the development and delivery of asset management and investment programmes

Oversee void performance and estate maintenance services

Prepare performance, compliance, and financial reports for senior management and Board reporting

Deputise for the Property Services Director when required

About You

You will bring:

Proven experience in a Property Services / Asset Management / Maintenance leadership role, ideally within social housing or a similar regulated environment

Strong knowledge of property-related health and safety compliance

Experience managing teams, contractors, and budgets

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

A proactive, customer-focused approach with a commitment to continuous improvement

A relevant professional qualification (or equivalent experience) is desirable.
