Electrical Assembler

7am - 3pm Monday to Thursday, 7am - 12pm Friday - 40 hrs(plus some weekends overtime)
Ongoing work (22 weeks)

The role

* Assemble / modify and test electrical or electronic products and equipment from (computers, test equipment telemetering systems, electric motors, and batteries and sophisticated radio communication equipment).

* Working from technical drawings

* Soldering, wiring, and working with Torque tools, power tools, machinery

* Test completed assemblies for correct operation.

* Identify and replace defective assembly components.

* Input data onto the CRM

* Will be heavy lifting involved up to 20 kilos

* Working in different departments as needed

The candidate

* You will have experience in electrical assembly / modify electrical or electronic equipment, such as computers, test equipment telemetering systems, electric motors, and batteries.

* Must be able to Solder and use Torque tools

* Able to sit and/or stand for 8 hours

* Light Computer skills and ability to read/enter data as required

* Need steel toe capped shoes
