Part‑time Quality Manager

We’re partnering with a well‑established food manufacturing business to recruit an experienced Quality Manager to lead food safety, compliance, and quality culture at a key UK site.

This is a high‑impact role with real influence across operations, production, and leadership teams. You’ll take ownership of site quality systems, audits, and continuous improvement, while acting as a trusted partner to the wider business.

As Quality Manager, you will :

• Lead and continuously develop site food safety and quality culture
• Own and maintain BRC, HACCP and customer standards, ensuring ongoing compliance
• Manage and lead internal, customer, retail, EHO and third‑party audits
• Investigate complaints, implement corrective actions and drive root cause analysis
• Partner closely with Operations and Production to improve processes and standards
• Maintain specifications, supplier approval and technical documentation
• Ensure compliance with all relevant UK food legislation
• Develop and coach a small technical / test bakery team
