Senior Research Nurse – Haematology Clinical Trials
AFC Band 6 – 1.0 WTE
Base: SE Scottish Cancer Research Network, Department of Haematology, Western General Hospital, Edinburgh

• Recruit, care for and treat patients participating in a variety of clinically relevant haematology trials.
• Interpret trial protocols and act with a high degree of independence.
• Collaborate closely with other research nurses, clinicians, data managers and the multidisciplinary team across the SCAN region.
• Attend and contribute to multidisciplinary meetings, clinics and study meetings (including occasional travel to other hospitals in the region).

• Registered and board‑approved nurse with experience in a related specialty.
• Experience in clinical research and knowledge of ICH/GCP guidelines.
• Degree‑level education (or currently undertaking) – recognition of continuous personal, professional and academic development.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, attention to detail, and proven adaptability to a changing working environment.
• Proficient IT skills and ability to demonstrate flexibility in a dynamic workplace.

• Must hold a valid Public Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme membership/record for the required regulatory group (child and/or adult).
• Providing UK work permission through the UK Visa and Immigration Service or applicable visa documentation.
