We are currently seeking an ambitious, proactive and inquisitive Junior Bartender to join our food & beverage team.

The on target earning potential for this role is £35,005 per annum - comprising a base salary of £25,005, plus a qualified estimate of £10,000 in gratuities and service charge.

Here’s a bit more detail on what we see you doing in this role:
  • You'll gain invaluable hands‑on experience in a fast‑paced bar environment, with growing responsibilities as your skills progress
  • Supporting our Bars team in the delivery of exceptional service, you’ll polish glassware, restock fridges, prepping garnishes and organising ingredients ahead of service, always maintaining clean and supremely organised bar stations
  • Assisting in setting up stations and ensuring fridges and storage areas are always well‑stocked and replenished throughout service
  • Ensuring our bar areas are spotless and service‑ready, always following hygiene and safety procedures
  • Maintaining our back‑of‑bar operations, playing a key role in ensuring a consistently smooth and efficient service flow
  • Participating in professional training and coaching sessions designed to support you in building your knowledge and your progression to a fully skilled bartender
  • Building strong working relationships in a supportive team where your contribution is valued, with opportunities to learn from some of the best bartenders in the business every day
  • Interacting with our guests, always warm, professional, helpful and doing everything you can to exceed their expectations; playing your part in making their stay with us luxurious in every wa
The kind of person we’re looking for:
  • Ideally, you’re currently established in a similar role, having had experience within luxury hospitality environment, however having a great attitude is essential
  • Friendly and approachable, you know exactly how to make guests feel welcome, and you’re great at reading and understanding their needs
  • Proactive, with great attention to detail, you know exactly what needs done without being asked
  • You like working in an environment where things move and flex, where a can‑do attitude is key; you thrive on the pressure and demands of a busy service
  • Highly motivated and possessing an immense sense of pride in your work; you're passionate about delivering the high standards for our guests in line with the Gleneagles brand
  • You have a positive “can do” attitude to solving problems in a professional and courteous manner
  • A strong team player with great communication skills and an enthusiastic approach; you're well organised and punctual with an eagle eye for detail
