Assistant Manager – 40 Hours – Edinburgh

Join Sweaty Betty as an Assistant Manager in Edinburgh, UK. In this role you will support the Store Manager, drive sales, manage store operations and lead a team to deliver memorable experiences to customers.

• Be a role model – motivate and engage your team to bring brand values to life, promote an inclusive atmosphere and celebrate success.
• Deliver outstanding customer service, demonstrating role‑model behaviours for the team.
• Assist in driving sales, commercial performance and maintenance of standards, including compliance with policies and procedures.
• Communicate efficiently on‑floor and behind the scenes, building relationships across the business, with customers and community partners.
• Partner with the Store Manager to generate innovative marketing ideas.
• Take ownership of stock management and visual merchandising, contributing to store KPIs.
• Act as a product expert and trainer, educating the team and advising customers.
• Foster a supportive, productive and inclusive environment that promotes teamwork and accountability.
• Support all aspects of running the store – opening/closing, cash handling, stock control, merchandising and maintaining a clean store.
• Create amazing customer experiences with authentic service that leaves a lasting impression.
• Maintain compliance with company policies, including health and safety regulations.

• Previous experience in a fast‑paced, customer‑facing environment.
• Leadership or supervisory experience preferred but not essential.
• Flexible and adaptable, comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment.
• Flexible schedule – available mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.

• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks at once.
