What Will You Do?

Day to Day
  • Oversee the day‑to‑day operation of the Boutique.
  • Ensure the highest level of customer service is delivered through L’Occitane’s customer experience model, and measured against store objectives.
  • Effectively delegate, prioritise, direct and supervise all boutique staff.
  • Uphold L’Occitane values, ensuring PROSPERITY is at the core of everything we do.
Commercial Flair
  • Drive KPI’s and achieve results to exceed targets.
  • Understand different market types and customers.
  • Demonstrate entrepreneurial skills in organising local marketing events to drive boutique sales.
  • Fully accountable for all aspects of stock management, ensuring stock is processed correctly.
  • Identify new and innovative ways to drive incremental sales.
  • Embrace virtual social selling and explore opportunities to drive the business forward digitally.
People
  • Lead by example and take overall responsibility for coaching and mentoring the team.
  • Recruit the right people and deliver all required training in line with company guidelines.
  • Coach customer service skills through L’Occitane’s customer experience model and MTS (online learning platform) both personally and with the team.
  • Coach and develop all team members to maximise their potential.
  • Uphold L’Occitane values, ensuring PROSPERITY is at the core of everything we do.
Reporting
  • Use our commercial reporting system (Tableau) to review performance and make commercial decisions to drive sales/KPI’s.
  • Coordinate the store schedule and manage team time‑keeping, absence reporting and payroll.
Future Focus
  • Maintain excellent product knowledge to advise and recommend products, campaigns and offers.
  • Seek opportunities to support Brand through project work.
  • Uphold L’Occitane values, ensuring PROSPERITY is at the core of everything we do.
  • Maintain good working relationships with centre management/BID teams.
  • Complete all online training to prioritise your development with L’Occitane.
Driving Results
  • Always provide the highest level of service to ensure all customers have an exceptional shopping experience by following the L’Occitane way.
  • Support in‑boutique and external customer events.
  • Adhere to Company policies and procedures at all times. Ensure retail bulletin and other boutique communications are read and followed in a timely manner.
The Perfect Candidate
  • A love of retail, demonstrated by 3 years’ plus of retail management experience.
  • Proven commercial acumen.
  • Clear communication skills – communicates confidently and effectively in group situations.

  • Business and competitor awareness.
  • Self‑motivation – proactively seeks ways to enhance own performance.
