Join Viewpoint as a Non-Executive Board Member

Are you passionate about the provision of quality housing and contributing to a community-focused organisation? Viewpoint, a Registered Charity was established in 1947 and is a leading provider of housing and care services in Scotland. We are seeking dedicated and skilled individuals to join our Board as Non-Executive Members, offering a unique opportunity to influence our strategic direction.

At Viewpoint, we manage approximately 1,400 properties across Edinburgh, Fife, and the Lothians, offering a range of sheltered, amenity and general needs housing. Our two care homes provide 24-hour nursing care, including specialist support for those living with dementia. Our mission is to create Joy in Later Years, delivering quality housing and care services where independence, dignity, opportunity and support are paramount and where personal choice is a way of life.

We value diversity and are keen to hear from individuals from a range of backgrounds. We are particularly interested in candidates with experience in:

• Asset Management or Development
• Lending, borrowing, or funding
• Governance or Audit and Risk
• Care Sector

This is a voluntary, non-executive position, and reasonable expenses will be reimbursed. The time commitment includes attending 8 Board meetings per annum plus one full Strategic Planning Away Day, participation in sub-committees as appropriate, and involvement in the Annual General Meeting (AGM) held in September, during which new members are formally appointed.
