HGV Class C Casual

Job Overview

We are recruiting for a HGV Class 2 Driver - Casual at Edinburgh Airport to work alongside our aviation team. Weekly pay is released every Friday. You will work 12‑hour shifts that can vary from 05:00 AM to 00:00 AM. Pay rate is £18.38.

• Driving HGV 15–18 tonne company liveried vehicles in a secure and controlled environment.
• Carrying out vehicle checks prior to use.
• Loading and unloading catering uplifts to aircraft.
• Liaising with flight crew and collaborating with other ground handling suppliers.
• Maintaining the cleanliness and tidiness of the vehicle.
• Adhering to all Road Traffic Acts and additional airport by‑laws.
• Performing additional duties such as bar and stores packing or search and sealing, including associated paperwork.
• Supporting other warehouse duties as required.

• Valid clean HGV CAD C Driving Licence (up to 3 points will be considered).
• Digital tachograph knowledge and possession of a digital tachograph card.
• Driver CPC qualification is essential.
• Previous HGV experience is desirable; airport airside driving is an advantage.
• Knowledge of the Road Traffic Act.
