Houston Skilled Consultancy is hiring a dependable and hardworking Warehouse Operative for a permanent position at a leading logistics firm. This role is essential to maintaining the smooth and efficient flow of goods in and out of the warehouse. You will be responsible for receiving, storing, picking, packing, and dispatching goods in a timely and accurate manner. • Accurately pick, pack, and dispatch orders according to company procedures.
• Receive and unload deliveries, checking for damaged or missing items.
• Store goods properly using warehouse management systems and location plans.
• Operate handling equipment and machinery safely and efficiently (training will be provided if required).
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment at all times.
• Assist in stock control, including regular inventory checks and cycle counts.
• Follow company health & safety guidelines and standard operating procedures.
• Report discrepancies, damages, or issues to the supervisor or team leader promptly.
• Collaborate with other team members to meet daily targets and KPIs.

• Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic literacy and numeracy skills.
• Physically fit and capable of lifting moderate to heavy loads.
• Ability to work accurately and quickly under pressure.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Team player with a proactive and positive attitude.
• Good communication skills.

• Prior experience in a warehouse, distribution center, or logistics environment is preferred but not mandatory.
• Full training will be provided for candidates with the right attitude and willingness to learn.

• Full‑time permanent position.
• Typical shifts:
  Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (with flexibility for occasional weekend or overtime shifts).
• Shift patterns may vary depending on business needs.

• Understanding of warehouse operations and inventory systems (preferred).
• Familiarity with barcode scanners, handheld devices, and stock systems is a plus.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
