You as a Concrete & Formwork Project Manager will:
Provide overall construction management from pre-construction to completion including design, coordination, budget & schedule in conjunction with the SuperintendentPrepare regular, timely and accurate billings for Owners and ensure timely payment of subcontractor billingsMeet with Owners in a professional manner and have the ability to communicate effectively both the concerns and best interests of the companyMonitor, interpret and forecast a project's cost reports, ensuring they are in line with the estimate and maintain a positive cash flowLead projects meeting with internal and external parties to monitor and support the team's ongoing development and progressionSubmit project reports to the Area Manager and communicate with management about the project's progress and areas of risk that need to be escalatedIs this role right for you?
You have a construction related degree/diploma and 5 to 10 years of construction experience or an equivalent combination of technical training and experiencePreference will be given to candidates with experience in concrete and formwork projectsYou have a working knowledge of construction scopes and activities, scheduling, project management and contract softwareYou have the ability to confidently mentor and delegate to a large team while developing and maintaining strong client relationsKnowledge of formwork systems, formwork sequencing, placing equipment, access equipment, productive rates, crew compositions, labour rates and union agreementsYou have CISD Secret clearance or are eligible to obtain itPosition is located in Cold Lake, ABEllis Don is proud to provide this unique career opportunity that provides continuous learning, opportunity for growth, and a competitive compensation package within an environment that is committed to inclusion and respects diversity.
