Summary of PositionThis position is responsible for preparing drawings, completing pipeline stress analysis, conducting feasibility assessments for trenchless crossings, and preparing costs in accordance with CCI Inc.’s codes, standards and drawings. This position will be primarily supporting Trenchless Engineering projects.
This is an Engineer-in-Training role and the incumbent will work under the supervision of a P.Eng.
Accountabilities- Review and prepare drawings and reports
- Assist in the preparation of engineering documents
- Assist senior personnel to complete the engineering processes as required
- Attend project meetings and assist with preparation of meeting minutes
- Assist in completion of project proposals and cost estimates
- Client, sub-consultant, and contractor interactions
- Other duties as assigned
- Work is office based with periodic project site visits as required
- Bachelor Degree of Engineering required (Civil, Mechanical or Geotechnical preferred)
- Registration as an Engineer in Training with APEGA
- Experience in a related pipeline and/or trenchless field is considered an asset
- Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite - Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point
