Your main responsibilities

Protostatix
, a Division of Enlobe is looking for their next Structural
Engineering Technologist to join our office in Edmonton, Calgary or Etobicoke
.

Prepare engineering drawings

Design drafting using AutoCAD, REVIT, and MS office with excellent general computer skills

Must have good knowledge and experience with wood construction.

Preparing and modifying drawings during design and construction. Ensuring structural drawings and specifications meet established Project criteria and applicable standards.

Have a good understanding of design / drafting for Muti-family dwellings, light commercial and commercial buildings.

Assisting in the preparation of functional, preliminary and detailed design drawings.

Participate in the production of construction document for structural projects.

Communication and coordination with other sub consultants and members of the Project team.

Read and interpret blueprints/drawings

And other miscellaneous duties, as required

What makes you unique

Completion of civil engineering technology diploma from an accredited school is required.

A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience ideally in the consulting industry.

Working experience and knowledge in recent and current versions of AutoCAD, REVIT, MS Office with excellent general computer skills is required.

Experience with wood construction design and drafting.

Equivalent experience or education may be considered.

Excellent communication skills and problem-solving abilities are required.
