Hello. It’s nice to meet you.

If you’re looking for a challenge, you’ve come to the right place. We can’t promise where you’ll go, but we do promise no two All Weather journeys are the same because no matter who you are or where you come from, we’re all building something. Every single one of us. Whether it’s a home, a career, a family or a future, we’re all searching for growth.

This is our story too. For more than 45 years, we’ve built the All Weather Group into the largest privately owned and operated window, door and glass manufacturer in the country. But in some ways, we’re just getting started.

Are you ready for this?

At the All Weather Group, you’ll be challenged to think on your feet, learn on the job and make an impact in big and small ways. We won’t hold your hand but we will have your back in helping you build the skills, experience and career you deserve.

We’re currently hiring a Product Development Engineer for our Edmonton Plant I location. In this role, you’ll work under the guidance of our Product Engineering Manager and be a key player on our Engineering team, driving innovation and supporting new and existing product development from concept through launch. This role bridges hands-on technical work with cross-functional collaboration across Marketing, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, and IT.

There’s more to any job than words on a page, but on any given day, this role is responsible for:

  • Executing product design, research, and prototyping
  • Coordinating multi-departmental development projects
  • Creating technical drawings and models using Solid Works/AutoCAD
  • Supporting tooling, equipment, and process development
  • Working closely with QA/QC teams and conducting root cause analysis
  • Engaging with certifying bodies and testing partners
  • Supporting document control (BOMs, models, performance data)
  • Processing and executing Engineering Change Requests
  • Are you built for this?

We hire as much for attitude as we do for experience, because who you are is just as important as what you can do. Here’s who and what we’re looking for.

You’re someone who brings both precision and passion. You know how things work—and how to make them work better.

    Education & Credentials:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical preferred)
  • EIT or P.Eng designation with APEGA
  • Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years in product or manufacturing engineering
  • Familiar with automated/manual assembly environments
  • Experience in windows and doors is a plus
  • Skills & Strengths:

  • Solid understanding of manufacturing processes and costs
  • Strong CAD proficiency (Solid Works, AutoCAD)
  • Natural collaborator and communicator
  • Technical thinker with a hands-on mindset
  • Comfortable with testing, prototyping, and regulatory interface
  • Detail-oriented with strong project and time management
  • Who You Are

  • Problem solver who leans into challenges
  • Always looking for ways to do it better
  • Works well with others—because that’s how the best ideas are built
  • Motivated by impact, not just outcomes
  • Comfortable on the floor, in the lab, and in the boardroom
  • Working With Us

You’ll work mostly in an office setting, with time spent on the production floor and in the engineering lab. Occasional site visits and hands-on prototyping are part of the job. Some lifting (up to 25 lbs.) and overtime may be required.

    Let’s get after it.

Every day at All Weather is an opportunity to roll up your sleeves and move one step closer to your goals. If you’re interested in this role, we encourage you to apply regardless of the criteria we’ve asked for. Please visit our careers page to get started now

    What’s in it for you?

We make premium products right here on home soil, designed and tested for Canada's harshest weather conditions, delivered with the promise of performance and style.
