Position: Project Engineer (Transmission Lines)
Our Transmission group is looking to add a Project Engineer to support various projects across Canada. The successful candidate will work closely with Project Managers, Construction Managers, and other stakeholders to plan, coordinate, and deliver safe, efficient, and high quality projects.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Support project planning, estimating, and budget preparationDevelop material and construction specifications for transmission projectsPrepare design packages, material take offs, and procurement requisitionsTrack material deliveries, inventory, and documentationCoordinate purchase orders, packing slips, and expense submissionsMaintain project schedules, progress reports, and quality recordsAssist with project change orders, including cost and schedule updatesProvide technical support to field teams during constructionLiaise between project operations and the corporate office to keep information flowingRequirements
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Civil, or related Engineering field2 years of relevant engineering project experienceExperience with transmission line designDemonstrated familiarity with PLS CADDPreferred Skills / Experience
Proven Transmission Line Project experienceExperience with JD Edwards (or similar ERP systems)8 years of related experienceBenefits
