About the Opportunity

Parker Huggett is proud to partner with one of Canada’s most established and respected builders, a national construction leader with deep Western Canadian roots and over 200 employees who’ve each built careers spanning 25+ years.

We’re seeking a Chief Estimator to join their Edmonton office, leading a high-performing Estimating Teams that delivers some of the region’s most impactful institutional, commercial and light industrial projects. This is a chance to join a well-established and strong project pursuit team during their next phase of growth that’s decades in the making.

Based in Edmonton, you’ll oversee Northern Alberta Project Pursuits from concept to contract award, mentoring estimators, collaborating with leadership on major pursuits, and driving best-in-class estimating processes. Projects span ICI, Design-Build, CM, and P3 delivery models, with values typically $50M plus.

What You’ll Do

Lead estimating strategy to achieve performance, schedule, and profitability goals

Guide bid submissions and ensure constructability, value, and precision

Build upon lasting relationships with subcontractors, clients, architects and various stakeholders

Oversee forecasting, tendering, and risk management processes

Mentor and grow a talented team of estimators in the Edmonton Buildings District

What You Bring

15+ years of experience estimating commercial, institutional and light industrial projects ranging in value ($30M – $100M) Not limited to.

Proven leadership in preconstruction and complex bid environments

Strong technical and financial acumen; proficiency with modern estimating software

Strong understanding of Constructability and Leading Clients Through Value Engineering Exercises when required

Professional credentials (PQS, CET, P.Eng) are considered assets
