Position: Senior Project Manager to support the delivery of ServiceNow and SaaS implementations
Our valued client is seeking a Senior Project Manager to support the delivery of Service Now and SaaS implementations.
An initial 10 month contract. Possibility of two 1 year extensions. % remote. Must work EST time zone. 7 hour work days
The successful candidate will assist with ongoing workload and project management. The PM will focus on project management, organizational readiness, stakeholder engagement, change management, and internal coordination, leveraging ITIL, PMP, and ADKAR frameworks. Additionally, the PM will assist with coordinating process engineering and business architecture efforts to ensure seamless process integration and alignment with Service Now capabilities.
Responsibilities:
Lead the full project lifecycle from initiation to closure, including project planning, resource allocation, risk management, and quality assurance within previously agreed time, cost and performance parameters;Define project objectives, scope, deliverables and budgetary requirements in collaboration with stakeholders, ensuring alignment with organizational goals;Develop and maintain detailed project plans, visual diagrams, schedules, and budgets, and monitor progress against established milestones;Conduct regular project status meetings, prepare progress reports, report progress of the project on an ongoing basis and at scheduled points in the life cycle;Stay current with emerging technologies and project management tools, industry trends, and best practices in IT project management;Coordinate and lead project teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment;Facilitate effective communication and ensure stakeholders are informed about project status, risks, and changes; andSupport development of project management procedures and tools, evaluate project outcomes, conduct post-implementation reviews, and identify lessons learned for future projects.Must Have
Skills:
10+ years experience as a Project Manager, preferably in crown-corporation, or government sector environmentExperience delivering projects for ITSM,
Service Now, cloud migrations, and SaaS implementationsMust hold or be eligible for a reliability clearancePMP or PRINCE2 certificationSolid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies and experience working with agile frameworks (e.g., Scrum, Kanban);
