Our client is seeking a Senior Network resource, to help with the implementation and management of advanced network solutions using HPE Aruba and Clear Pass technologies.
The role will act as the primary resource on various network architecture projects, ensuring robust security, connectivity and resiliency.
The successful candidate will possess senior level working experience with network architecture, design and analysis.
This role will support technology strategies in enhancing network efficiency and reliability while setting a foundation for cloud services and applications.
This is an on-site position located in Edmonton Alberta, with some travel to other Alberta based sites.
Skills Aruba, CCNP Type Contract Experience Required/Mandatory SkillsMust have a minimum of 5+ years of experience in an enterprise environment as a Senior Network Administrator or Network Engineer role with architecture, deployment, and Level-3 troubleshooting experience. Preferable to have 7+ years proven working experience in a network engineering role with in-depth knowledge of designing and architecting networks
Must have demonstrated experience with HPE Aruba CX 6300s/8300s series.
Must have demonstrated experience with Aruba Central Management
Must have demonstrated experience with Wireless deployment and configuration. Preferable to have Aruba AP experience
Must have one or more relevant certifications demonstrating expertise and proficiency in network technologies. Examples include: ACSX - Aruba Certified Switching Expert, ACSP - Aruba Certified Switching Professional or ACSA - Aruba Certified Switching Associate
Any of the following certifications,
Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE)
Aruba Certified Clear Pass Professional (ACCP)
Aruba Certified Mobility Expert (ACMX)
Aruba Certified Design Professional (ACDP)
Certified Wireless Network Professional (CWNP)
CompTIA Network+
Juniper Networks Certified Internet Associate (JNCIA) or Juniper Networks Certified Internet Professional (JNCIP)
Microsoft Certified:
Azure Solutions Architect Expert
and,
Preferable to have senior level hands-on knowledge of Fortinet products, including advanced functionality.
Preferable to have Azure Express Route experience
Proficient working experience with HPE Aruba Networking Clear Pass deployment, integration, TACACS, Onboard, and OnGuard policy features or comparable solutions.
Proficient working experience with Fortinet Forti Gate NGFW products within an Enterprise environment
Proficient working experience in designing, implementing, and managing complex network infrastructures
Proficient working experience with a variety of network technologies, protocols, and topologies
Proficient working experience troubleshooting network issues and optimizing network performance
Proficient working experience Implementing network security measures and best practices
Proficient working experience with a range of routing and switching protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF, VLANs, MPLS)
Proficient working experience with Network security technologies (e.g., firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS)
Proficient working experience with network virtualization and software-defined networking (SDN)
Proficient working experience with cloud networking and integration with public cloud platforms
Proficient working experience with network monitoring and management tools (e.g., SNMP, Net Flow, Wireshark)
Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and adapt to changing business requirements and technologies.
Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
