Job Title: Senior POD Lead/Scrum Master to orchestrate data enablement delivery for a lakehouse transformation

Overview: Our client seeks a Senior POD Lead/Scrum Master to lead a data enablement team delivering AWS lakehouse modernization and data product acceleration initiatives for their multi-year IT transformation.

Responsibilities:

  • Orchestrate delivery of Revenue UAT to production deployment
  • Manage pod velocity and capacity planning across multiple workstreams
  • Facilitate collaboration between client teams and embedded pod resources
  • Report progress and risks to client Data Leadership
  • Drive knowledge transfer and sustainability practices
  • Coordinate transition between capacity and SOW-based work

    • Must Haves:

  • 8+ years leading agile data engineering teams in enterprise environments
  • Proven experience scaling delivery pods from 5-15 resources
  • Hands-on experience with AWS data services (S3, Glue, Lake Formation, Redshift)
  • Track record of transitioning between capacity-based and fixed-price SOW delivery models
  • Experience managing data platform modernization projects from EDW to lakehouse architectures
  • Airline or transportation industry experience

    • Nice to Haves:

  • SAFe or other scaled agile certifications
  • Experience with Matillion ETL
  • PMP certification
    • Position Requirements
    10+ Years work experience
