This position offers a challenging, diverse, and exciting opportunity to join our team. Job duties will fall within our Mobile Shop department.

You'll Do

• Perform various tasks related to the safe and efficient application of technical skills and knowledge of a Heavy Duty Mechanic/HET.
• Repair and maintain industrial equipment, including Log Loaders, Wheel Loaders, Forklifts, Log Trucks, Walking Floor, and Dump Trucks.
• Maintain other mobile equipment used in the manufacture of lumber.
• Continually maintain the quality and standards of service to safety and production.

You Have

• A valid Inter-Provincial or Provincial Journeyperson mechanic or HET certification
• Apprentices are encouraged to apply
• Ability to read manuals and schematics
• Capable of using diagnostic systems, Cat, Kenworth
• Proven working knowledge of Hydraulics and electrical systems
• Commitment to working safely and creating a safe workplace
• Ability to work independently with little supervision
• Flexible schedule for day, evening and weekend shifts
• Experience working in a fleet shop
• Cummins and Cat engine experience

Compensation Package

• The hourly pay rate for this position may vary depending on experience, education, and location.
