- Education:
No degree, certificate or diploma - Experience:
1 year to less than 2 years Work setting - Factory or plant Tasks
- Sweep, mop, scrub and wax hallways, floors and stairs
- Empty trash cans and other waste containers
- Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing and electrical systems, and contact tradespersons for major repairs
- Contact contractors for repairs and maintenance of the establishment
- Perform safety and security checks
- Supervise other workers
- Work with minimal supervision Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses
- Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
- Forklift Operator Certification Area of work experience
- Cleaning Regulations knowledge
- Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) regulations Equipment
- Industrial vacuum cleaners/power sweepers
- Polishing machines
