Position: CNC Machinist Opportunity

We're seeking skilled CNC Machinists to join our Edmonton team. As a CNC Machinist with us, you'll play a vital role in the fabrication process, using your expertise to operate, program, and maintain CNC machines. Your dedication will contribute to our mission of delivering high-quality products to our customers while maintaining efficiency and precision in our operations.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate CNC machines to fabricate parts according to specifications and production schedules.
  • Program CNC machines using G-code or CAM software, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in machining processes.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on CNC machines to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
  • Conduct quality inspections of machined parts using precision measuring instruments to verify compliance with design specifications.
  • Troubleshoot machine malfunctions and make necessary adjustments to maintain production flow.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize machining processes and improve overall efficiency.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
  • Document production activities, including machine settings, tooling changes, and production output, accurately and comprehensively.
Requirements:
  • College diploma or equivalent; technical certification or diploma in machining or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience as a CNC machinist, with proficiency in operating
  • Flexibility to work non-standard hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.and programming CNC machines.
  • Strong knowledge of CNC programming languages (G-code) and CAD/CAM software.
  • Familiarity with a variety of machining processes, including milling, turning, and drilling.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints to set up and machine parts accurately.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
  • Physical stamina and dexterity to perform tasks that may require lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
