Location: NiskuJob Summary:
The Inspection Trainee in Nisku, Alberta will assist Operators in the inspection and minor repair of tubular goods and is responsible for pipe handling, cleaning and inspection and minor repair of tubular goods, including drill pipe.

Job Responsibilities:
Assisting Operators in the utilization of the drift machine and pipe rotators.Thread inspectionMagnetic Particle InspectionCleaning and minor repair of pipe threadsDrifting of tubularsRemoval and application of thread compoundsEquipment set up and tear downEquipment calibration as directedBasic maintenanceGeneral housekeeping and shop cleanupResponsible to follow all applicable company and corporate policies, guiding principles, procedures and programs; including but not limited to the process map, support processes, health, safety and environmental requirementsParticipate in training programs as required by the companyAll other duties as assignedQualification Requirements:
Partial high school education with the ability to read, write and speak a minimum amount of English to perform job dutiesStrong communication skills and a commitment to customer serviceStandard First Aid and H2S Alive training preferredWork is performed in a shop and yard environment. Possibility to be exposed to dust, fumes or gases and changes of temperature/humidity.Physical requirements:
squatting, bending, reaching, twisting, lifting up to 23 kilograms, walking on rough ground, and working near moving equipment.Required to at all times wear proper protective clothing and equipment and perform duties in a safe mannerHSE Requirements:
Work is performed in a shop and yard environment. Possibility to be exposed to dust, fumes or gases and changes of temperature/humidity.Physical requirements:
